Are you searching for a way to get out of debt? Are unpaid credit card debt, medical bills and loans a problem? Find out how and where to get credit debt help today.

The number of consumers who urgently need credit debt help is rising fast. According to a recent article in Forbes magazine, the average amount of debt on charge cards in Florida currently stands at $9,797.38. Given that the median household income is $43,333, this means that 22.61% of income goes towards servicing revolving debt alone. Whilst a loan for debt consolidation is an option for homeowners with sufficient available equity, a growing number of individuals are turning to a Debt Management Plan or debt settlement program to escape their money woes.

Loan for Debt Consolidation - Get Out of Debt Through a Series of Regular Debt Repayments

This variety of credit debt help is only available to those who have a good credit history and/or available home equity. Consolidating debt with a loan means that a single repayment is made over a defined term - different to revolving debt. The term of the loan can also be extended in order to improve affordability. However, a home equity loan does involve turning unsecured into secured debt which gives the creditor more ways to recover their money in the event of default.

Debt Settlement Programs - Credit Debt Help: Become Debt Free in Less Than 36 Months

Following a series of negotiations with creditors, it is possible to write-off up to 50% of all unsecured debt (credit cards, medical bills and small loans). It is possible to get out of debt by making a series of repayments over a 12, 24 or 36 month period. The 50% reduction to the principal (amount owed) does not take place until the final payment is made. This debt-free solution will incur management charges of approximately 15%; the fee is taken from each payment. Avoid plans that front-load charges.

Debt Management Plan - Credit Debt Help Through Improved Affordability

Although there is no reduction to the principal, creditors will be offered a repayment that is based on what the debtor can afford to pay. A single payment will be made to the intermediary and this will be distributed to creditors on a pro rata basis. The majority of creditors will be prepared to freeze further interest and charges once a Debt Management Plan is in place to help that person get out of debt as quickly as possible.

If improved budgeting hasn't worked, it is possible to get credit debt help through a loan for debt consolidation, a debt settlement program or a Debt Management Plan. Seek help and assistance from a credit counselor as soon as it becomes apparent that paying bills on time is likely to present a problem.
